The runaway kid completes the college.

Hmm....dunno if time is right to finally speak on something I have never spoken about. But I owe my readers a good story even if it could seriously hamper my reputation (of someone with a balanced head)...

First of all, if you haven't deducted as much from my previous posts,I am a very complex person. So don't expect me to explain and elucidate on matters that you don't understand.

Even I don't understand them.

T20 world cup final

With Pakistan needing six runs from last four balls, Misbah tries a scoop over short fine leg, which our own(very much loathed) Sreesanth accepts with glee...

The team celebrates.
and We celebrate- all the hostelers gather at the college gate to celebrate the victory. Empty bottles served as temporary drums and our slogans, though hoarse with repetition, ran deep into the party night.

And the next day was to be the day for discussions, for analysis of the match, of predicting what this brave captain and his young team could one day achieve...

But i had other plans...

I decided to run away from hostel.

Everything was planned to perfection. I told the others that I won't be coming for the first hour. Even in the early days of third sem, it wasn't uncommon for me to bunk one class...so they didn't suspect.

And then i called my brother(who was then working at Infosys, Techno Park, Trivandrum) and said this"I'm fed up with engineering, I have had enough".
I hung up the phone before he could reply.

I packed my bag with clothes and took a bus to the railway station.

This much had gone as per plan- now what?

The first train was Kerala Express to trivandrum- why wait?
I got aboard the train and managed a seat in the upper berth.

Oh yeah! i was getting calls from my brother and my poor friends to whom i had so cruelly lied. Phone was in the silent mode. Strangely though, I didn't switch off it.

I got down at Thambanur station. By this time the number of missed calls had almost reached three digits.

Still, I didn't know what to do.
I walked the length of a street. Thought about beaches, but finally settled for a small park in the middle of the town. And after 1-2 hours of inactivity, I decided enough was enough.

I sent a message to my brother which if I remember right went something like this "I'm at a park from where you could see the temple"

He arrived within 30 minutes and took me to his place.Luckily, those people didn't ask me too many questions.

And at night, with his friend's ID, I managed to enter Technopark with him. At exactly 12'0 clock,i was standing on top of the tallest building there.
I could see the sea from there...

Next day, I went back home. By this time,I'd announced my intention of discontinuing engineering and Dad showed no real opposition to this...

2 years have passed

India has twice managed to exit the world cup without a win in the Super Eights.

And the runaway kid has almost completed the college.

two awkward moments and two beautiful nights

This is an entirely personal diary entry

Get a hint and close the tab...

NOW!! GET OUT------>

Awkward moments
---------------

1) Ever chatted(ie.,online) with your lover's(i pondered long and
chose to call you this) mom ??

   i had the luck  : (

   twas accidental, funny..but awkward.

2) This was embarrassing.

I asked for something and was denied(don't think dirty- i am not
   all that bad a boy!)
this will remind me of the incident(and her too...and alas her
friend too!,who luckily for me, isn't placed in TCS)

Beautiful Nights
----------------

1) I cried for the second time after coming to college.(last time it
    was anguish,frustration)
but this time it was beautiful...

finally found peace and it felt like raindrops ...

2) we played a game i learned in a train journey.
I was silly and she endured..

shame on you for reading my diary and don't come asking what it was all about...
